Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim is the president of the Caux Round Table in Malaysia and the president of the UN Global Compact network in Malaysia. He has held senior management positions in large private and public sector organlsations in Malaysia, Hong Kong and the UK.
He began his business career with the Guthrie Corporation Ltd. after tertiary education in England and Australia. He then moved to the Central Bank of Malaysia as Advisor. He returned to the private sector, his preferred option, joining Dunlop Malaysian Industries before being appointed a Group Director of Sime Darby limited. He left Malaysia in 1985 to take up a directorship at the Commonwealth Secretariat, London, returning to Malaysia on retirement, in 1992.

Working for the UN Global Compact Office, Soren Petersen is Head of Networks & Partnerships.
In the previous five years he was with the UNDP Nordic office in Copenhagen responsible for the business outreach and business partnership activities of UNDP in the Nordic countries. Before joining UNDP he was manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers working with CSR and supply chain issues. Søren Mandrup Petersen is also a former Associate Professor in Political Science, and he has worked for a number of years for the Social Protection sector of the World Bank.

Nelmara joined the GRI Secretariat in July 2006 as Director for Learning Services area, where she is responsible for developing and implementing the GRI Learning Publications program, the GRI Certified Training program and the SME and supply chain program. The programs will support reports makers and readers.
The first GRI Learning Publication was launched last February and was translated in several languages.
Nelmara joins GRI with a wealth of experience in corporate responsibility and sustainable development. For 3 years, Nelmara was manager for Corporate Responsibility at Natura Cosmetics, Brazil . There she developed and implemented a management system for corporate responsibility; lead participatory processes of sustainable development planning with communities; implemented national social and environmental campaigns; and was responsible for the company’s internal sustainability learning program for managers. She was also coordinating the annual sustainability report preparation of the company.

Before joining the Guardians in November 2006, Anne-Maree O'Connor was the Managing Director of CoreRatings, a leading European rating agency for independent investment analyses of corporate responsibility risks. She moved back to New Zealand after 20 years in Europe. Anne-Maree held various positions in the field of corporate responsibility and governance including Associate Director, SRI at Morley Fund Management, Head of SRI Research at Henderson Global Investors and Head of Corporate Responsibility Ratings at Det Norske Veritas. She has a MSc from the University College of Wales, a BSc from Massey University and the Investment Management Certificate (UK).

Melissa Brown, Executive Director of the Association for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA). A member-based organization, ASrIA works with a broad range of groups to promote sustainable investment in Asia. Before joining ASrIA, she spent 15 years in Asia working for international investment banks in equity research and research management. In addition to building an equity research operation in South Korea for BZW, she covered regional utility stocks for JP Morgan and Salomon Smith Barney. Before moving to Asia in 1988, she worked as an analyst covering emerging growth stocks for the investment managers Lord, Abbett & Co. in New York and for a speciality tax policy magazine in Washington, D.C. She has an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Economics from Williams College.

He has also worked with private companies and charities including PA Consulting Group, leading UK law firm Allen & Overy, and the Wellcome Trust UK. He was an economic advisor to Her Majesty’s Opposition in the United Kingdom and in Malaysia he is a member of the EU Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI) CSR Committee.
His recent CSR consultancy work has assisted major GLCs in the construction sector, the automotive industry and the retail and leisure industries on CSR management and reporting. He has also worked with companies in the palm oil sector and the forestry industry on sustainability management.
