Alexis Krajeski, Associate Director, GSI joined F&C in May 2003. She is responsible for engaging with Emerging Market companies, on a broad range of issues including corporate governance, climate change, human rights, and bribery and corruption. She is also responsible for global engagement across the insurance and telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) sectors.
In addition to engagement, Alexis oversees F&C’s global proxy voting and is involved in research and analysis for F&C’s Global Climate Opportunities Fund. Alexis has co-authored several studies looking at sustainable business practice from an investor’s perspective, including Accounting for Climate Change: A Window on the Future (Harvard Business Review, October 2007), In the Front Lines: The insurance industry’s response to climate change (F&C Investments, September 2007), and Managing Access, Security & Privacy in the Global Digital Economy (F&C Investments, January 2007). Alexis holds an MSc in Politics of the World Economy, with Merit from the London School of Economics, as well as a BA in Political Science & Religion from Barnard College, Columbia University. Alexis speaks Spanish and is proficient in Brazilian Portuguese.
