Aykut Kazanci, Fair Labor Association

Aykut Kazanci has extensive experience as a quality, safety and social compliance auditor. He serves as the Eastern Hemisphere Manager for the Eastern Europe, and South, Southeast and East Asia regions for the FLA. Before coming to the FLA, Kazanci was Lead Assessor for Bureau Veritas Quality Int.; Lead Auditor and Regional Coordinator for Verité; Consultant and Trainer for an ILO-EU textile sector program; Lead Auditor with ITS-Intertek Labtest in Istanbul; Safety Trainer for Cement Manufacturers Employer Union; CSR Consultant for GTZ; Lead Assessor for the JO-IN project; and Lead Assessor for BSI-British Standards Institution. Earlier in his career, he worked with the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights in projects in Turkey. He has been trained on ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000 management system standards. Born in 1963, he holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
